The Muse is a perfect go-to for any occasion. Express your creativity and change her up and down depending on the fabric used. Here we show prairie feel using 1970s vintage linen patched together.

We have also wiped her up in velvet and added a frill for a completely different look! This dress spans most body shapes and generations… Timeless.

We have included an elbow-length frill and hem frill if you note on the velvet one we have embellished using a pleated ribbon trim. The sleeve head is a small puff.

Where will the inspiration she creates take you? Will you amp up her 1970s style with 70s print fabrics, make her hard-wearing in denim or cool and effortless in linen or simple cotton? If the mood takes, take her dancing in velvet or to a gallery opening in brocade.

And why not make her floor-length?

The PDF download product includes A4, Letter & A0 sizes.

Extremely disappointed that I spent £20 on this pattern.

To be clear I bought a paper version and maybe some of the issues I have do not relate to the pdf version.
No indication is given of the height of individual the dress is designed for and no indication is given of bust cup size. No finished garment sizes are given, not indication of ease +/- is detailed.
The diagram on the first page has a line down both the arm and the length of the dress but no measurements are given.
The paper version is printed in black and white.
If you want to make with a frill, you'll need more fabric, but this is not mentioned on the purchase page of this site.
The unnumbered photo below photo 24 - that says your dress will look like this; well the dress dress is placed against a white background. This makes it absolutely impossible to see any of the seams or techniques 'as seen in photo'.
Neck-facing pieces are displayed on the cutting layout and on the pattern pieces, but are not mentioned in the instructions.Clearly neck facings are only used in a unlined garment, but this is not made clear at any point in the instructions.
Size of seam allowance is not mentioned.
No indication where 'waist' seam should sit and the photos are so unclear, it's hard to ascertain.
Words are missing e.g in note 11 'up' is missing from close-up; seam is spelt seam and seem throughout the instructions.
£20 is a lot of money to spend on a pattern that I'm having to proof-read before I start making the dress.

Not enough instructions and no mention of the 2 smallest pattern pieces in the booklet

I bought this pattern as it was the closest I’d seen to the vampires wife dress. The envelope doesn’t have finished garment measurements so it is difficult to work out what size to make. It also doesn’t mention in the booklet the 2 pattern piece for the neck line so as an intermediate sewer it’s confusing
