As we adapt to the new norm I have created a drop in day as this is more flexible for us all.

This fun session is aimed at all abilities from complete beginners through to seasoned sewists, or perhaps you are a student wanting to build a portfolio for a uni or college application, I can help you do that.

Start a new project or bring one that you started and want to finish, an ideal opportunity for you to get out of your head and into your hands. I provide sewing machines and a cutting table but if you would like to bring your own please feel free.

Or perhaps you want to up cycle a garment

Please bring a basic sewing kit and lunch, tea coffee provided

We have parking above the Mill Broad St DT7 3QD, which is short stay or we have have Holmbush, long stay DT& 3HX

Drop in day

l took my son along who is learning to sew , l need help with a pattern and he is keen to learn .
We both had a really enjoyable day ,
Caroline was lovely and really knowledgeable and helped us with lots of useful ideas and tips ,

Positive experience

I was a little unsure when I started the morning as my experience of dress making was minimal. Caroline was reassuring and I felt whatever mess I got myself into she would be able to reroute me onto a positive path. I am very pleased with the dress I made under Caroline’s supervision. So much so I have booked another session to continue building my skills. Still very much at the beginning of my journey but smiling thanks to Caroline’s expertise and enthusiasm
